Field pace: the median finisher's pace on the segment into this checkpoint, relative to their own whole-race average — right/orange = slower than race pace, left/blue = faster. Kroger is Kroger’s Canteen — the aid station in the notch of Virginius Pass at 13,100 ft. Arrival times assume the 6:00 local start. Buffer and Tight are computed on 2025 finishers against the 2025 cutoff chart. Runners who missed a cutoff or dropped are not in the data (finishers only).

Methodology & sources

Split data: official per-runner checkpoint times for the 2025 Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run, 114 finishers at 15 timed checkpoints. Cutoff chart: 2025 official aid station chart (hardrock100.com/hardrock-aidstations-table.php). All split-derived figures describe finishers only — runners who dropped or missed a cutoff do not appear in split data, so buffer statistics understate how tight cutoffs are for the full field. Medians are used throughout; no figure on this page is modeled or extrapolated.
